Top Hat is a hybrid cross between highbush blueberry ( V. corymbosum ), and lowbush blueberry ( V. angustifolium ). It'a small, dwarf mature size allows it to be grown just about anywhere........and still get plenty of large sweet blueberries. Top Hat is a self pollinating blueberry variety, but it is recommended that more than one be planted to ensure maximum pollination, and largest fruit yields. Not necessary - but definitely recommended.
