The flowers of Aster October Skies completely cover the sweetly-scented foliage. Combines well with sedum and ornamental grasses.
Plants grow up to 15” tall with 30” spread.
Aster oblongifolius is native to dry prairies and rocky slopes in the Central and Eastern United States.
This Aster is no different than many others in its family – providing valuable habitat for Butterfly larva and is a nectar sources for bees, wasps, and butterflies.
