Aster novae-angliae 'Purple Dome' is a compact mounding cultivar of New England Aster that delivers masses of deep purple blooms in early fall. Unlike its taller wild counterpart, ‘Purple Dome’ stays neatly rounded and manageable.

NATIVE STATUS

Cultivar derived from the North American native Aster novae-angliae, commonly found in eastern and central regions. While selected for garden performance, it retains much of the ecological value of the species.
