Paul's Glory Hosta has broad, spade-shaped leaves span from blue-green at the margins to a pale yellowish green at the center. In the summer, lavender, bell-shaped flowers bloom, and the leaves' margins deepen to dark green as the centers turn gold. The leaves are corrugated at the edges. The flowers make lovely additions to bouquets, but the entire plant thrives in full-to-partially shaded areas in woodland areas with well-drained, humus-rich garden soil. Morning sun will bring new intensity to the leaf colors, but avoid afternoon sun if possible. Named the American Hosta Growers' Association Hosta of the Year in 1999. Grows 24" tall by 36" wide.
