Nipponanthemum nipponicum, common names "Nippon daisy" or "Montauk daisy," is a plant species native to coastal regions of Japan but cultivated as an ornamental in other regions. It is now naturalized as an escape along seashores and dunes in New York and New Jersey.

Easily grown in average, dry, well-drained soil in full sun. Tolerates light shade in hot climates. New growth may be cut back slightly in spring to maintain plant compactness and encourage bushy form. Remove spent flower heads to promote additional bloom.

Grows 24" tall by 24" wide, I have seen it in Long Branch along the beach as a hedge 5' tall by 3' wide. It can be pruned like a Privet hedge.

Bust in full sun

1 year old - 2 Gallon Pot
